Gearbox has commited one of the cardinal sins of marketing. Don't alienate part of your demographic. The latest edition of Boarderlands, Mechromancer, has a skill tree called Best Friends Forever that helps new gamers. The lead designer has been calling it 'Girlfriend Mode'. As a female and a gamer, I just can't let go unnoticed. Gearbox needs to put a muzzle on Mr. Hemingway.
